Species TM AA Chromosomal Location Gene Symbol Gene Name Reference
Human 7 765 15q23 NOX5 NADPH oxidase 5 2
Gene and Protein Information Comments
There are no rat or mouse orthologues of the human NOX5 gene. Variant 1 (NOX5 gamma, or v3) encodes isoform 1 which is the longest protein product dervived from this gene. Two shorter isoforms are also encoded by NOX5.
