Comment: IL-17B is a proinflammatory homolog of IL-17 expressed at very high levels in spinal cord (primarily localizing to neuronal cell bodies and axons) and at lower levels in trachea, prostate, lung, small intestine, testes, adrenal, and pancreas [2-3], and acting on a restricted set of target cells (IL-17B receptor expression is restricted to human kidney, pancreas, liver, brain, and intestines ).
