Bioactivity Comments
Due to the complex and varied nature of the precise subunit composition of GABAA channels, and a paucity of affinity data with definitive molecular details, we have not tagged a primary target for this drug. Data from experiments using central benzodiazepine receptors isolated from synaptosomal membranes of rat cerebral cortex, in a competition binding assay with [3H]flunitrazepam, provide a zopiclone IC50 of 29 nM [1].
