Bioactivity Comments
Gamithromycin has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity, including against Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni, the pathogens most commonly associated with bovine respiratory disease (BRD). In studies involving field strains of these bacteria, gamithromycin demonstrated MIC90 values in the range of 0.5-1 μg/ml [1].
