GtoPdb Ligand ID: 13454

Comment: The cellular communication network factor 3 protein (CCN3) is a matricellular protein that is expressed during development. In endothelial cells it supports cell adhesion and survival through interactions with integrins (αvβ3, α5β1, α6β1) [2] and heparan sulfate proteoglycans. CCN3 induces cell migration through interactions with αvβ3 and α5β1 integrins.
