| Doravirine is used alongside other antiretroviral drugs for combination therapy of HIV-1 infection. It was first approved by the US FDA in 2018. In April 2026 the FDA approved doravirine plus islatravir (DOR/ISL), as a once daily dual drug pill to treat HIV infection, providing there are no known target sequence substitutions associated with resistance to doravirine. |
