Bioactivity Comments
Bis1 inhibits HCT116 colon cancer cell viability in vitro with an IC50 of 45nM [1]. It exerts its effects by disrupting actin dynamics and causing aggregation of F-actin filaments, an action that leads to cell apoptosis. This effect is likely mediated by protein kinase C (PKC) pathway inhibition.
