Imsidolimab (ANB019) acts as a functional antagonist of IL-36 receptor activation, by binding to the IL1RL2 receptor subunit. It antagonises IL-36α, IL-36β, and IL-36γ-mediated activation of IL-36 receptor and downstream sequelae resulting from recruitment of the co-receptor IL-1 receptor accessory protein (IL-1RAcP).
