Comment: A3-PGRNC15* is novel therapeutic that comprises a sortilin-binding affibody fused to a peptide derived from the progranulin C-terminus [1]. It is designed to bind and antagonise the degradative activity of sortilin 1 on progranulin, to elevate progranulin as a mechanism to reduce the neurodegenerative effects of progranulin deficiency.
