Agonist Comments
Recombinant human IL-11 promotes cellular proliferation of Ba/F3 cells exogenously expressing IL-11 receptors, with an EC50 value of 2.5ng/mL [3].
Immunopharmacology Comments
The interleukin-11 receptor is a heterodimer of a ligand binding α subunit (IL11RA) and a signal transducing interleukin-6 receptor, β subunit (IL6ST) [2]. It is a type I cytokine receptor for stromal cell-derived IL-11, a cytokine with multiple biologic activities on lymphohematopoietic and bone cells.
