Immunopharmacology Comments |
IFN-κ is produced by human keratinocytes [1-2]. Like other type I IFNs, IFN-κ binds the IFN-α/β receptor (IFNAR), a dimeric receptor that consists of protein chains encoded by the IFNAR1 and IFNAR2 genes, and induces expression of proteins containing ISRE or GAS transcription elements. |
