The FDA granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation for repotrectinib in October 2021, as a treatment for NTRK gene fusion +ve advanced solid tumours that have progressed following prior treatment with ≥1 tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapies, and for which there is no other suitable treatment. FDA approval was granted in November 2023, to treat locally advanced or metastatic ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer.
